At Connecticut Renaissance, we celebrate the strength found in recovery from substance use and mental health challenges. We are dedicated to partnering with individuals in recovery, recognizing their journey as a powerful asset to our community, and intentionally working together to create a supportive environment.
What is a Recovery Friendly Workplace (RFW)?
Our Recovery Friendly Workplace (RFW) initiative is more than just a policy—it’s a culture. It means committing to a healthy, safe, and inclusive workplace where every employee feels empowered to seek help without fear of judgment. As part of this commitment, we have partnered with The Catalyst agency to become a certified Recovery Friendly Workplace. This certification reinforces our promise to:
- Encourage Open Dialogue: Any employee experiencing a behavioral health challenge is welcome to come forward confidentially, assured they will receive understanding and support without negative consequences.
- Provide Access to Resources: Whether you’re facing your own challenges or supporting a loved one, we’re here to connect you with valuable resources tailored to your needs.
- Ensure Fairness & Privacy: Every behavioral health concern is addressed with respect, fairness, and strict confidentiality, so you can pursue wellness and recovery while maintaining job security.
- Offer Peer Support: Our dedicated Peer Champions serve as trusted allies—acting as confidential liaisons between employees, management, and external support networks. They are here to guide you through any challenges and help you access the care you deserve.
