By registering for the Connecticut Renaissance Silent Auction, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Auction Item Availability: Connecticut Renaissance reserves the right to add or remove auction items without prior notice.
- Final Sales: All sales are final. No exchanges or refunds will be provided, and items cannot be redeemed for cash. Items are sold in “as is” condition, and once claimed, their safety and security are the responsibility of the winning bidder.
- Item Value: Auction item values are based on Fair Market Value (FMV). Items have not been appraised unless specified otherwise.
- Limitations: Restrictions may apply to gift cards, certificates, and certain items, including potential blackout dates.
- Tax Deductibility: For Federal income tax purposes, the tax-deductible amount of your contribution is limited to the amount paid over the fair market value of the items received. Please consult a tax advisor for guidance on the tax-deductible portion of your payment.
